We are an independent law firm based in Melbourne, Victoria.
We act for a range of clients in both one-off matters and on an ongoing basis – either for strategic projects and campaigns, or on a retainer.
For our retainer clients, we provide outsourced general counsel legal services for a fixed period or on an ongoing basis. This is a cost effective alternative to employing a full-time lawyer.
Art & Commerce is led by Jonathan Williamson, a senior commercial lawyer and registered trade marks attorney with previous experience in big law and boutique legal practices.
Prior to practising law, Jonathan worked in the music industry, as record company executive, an artist manager, business owner and government policy adviser.
Jonathan is known for his down-to-earth, pragmatic style. He listens and works with clients to guide and support them towards achieving their commercial goals.

Ofek Golan is a legal intern at Art & Commerce. Ofek is a highly capable aspiring lawyer and final-year Law and Business (Finance major) student at Swinburne University of Technology.
Ofek is a strategic thinker with a passion for commercial law and helping businesses grow while ensuring their intellectual property remains protected.
